Feeling Put Together After Baby and My Recommendations For Finding Pre-Owned Designer Handbags

Happy Sunday!  Today I am talking about wardrobe preferences since having a baby, my favorite ways to feel more put together when I have a little time to myself, and my new-found love of pre-owned designer handbags.  I thought I would also share with you my recommendations for finding pre-owned designer bags :-), which is how I have scored some amazing bags for a fraction of the price! Read on for more!

Pre-Owned Designer Handbags

Life has obviously changed a lot since Colton’s arrival this past February, and I am sure you won’t be surprised when I tell you my casual wardrobe preferences have become a little more casual, ha ha. I must admit that with a little one in the family, I spend the majority of my days in comfy WASHABLE clothing, baseball hats, and sneakers!  Although, when I do get the chance to get out and about on my own, I still love to wear simple clothing with a trendy twist, throw on a pair of heels, and tote along a statement bag.

As you know I have a mad love for clothing with clean lines, but I always enjoy it when those pieces have a trendy twist.  This assymetrical button shoulder top (HERE) is one of my new favorites, and under $30 which – if you ask me – makes it even better to wear!  As far as footwear choices go, I have found walking in heels to be a bit more difficult than it used to be, but I still feel so much more polished when I do wear them… flats in the car, just in case ;-).  Carrying along a great bag, however, still comes easy; thank goodness, as this is always a no-fail way to up the style factor and feel more put together!  The trickier part of the latter is that this new mom has a new budget, so many of the latest designer bags I would love to own are going to have to wait… well… about 25 years.  Thank you 529 college savings plan, lol.

With that said, I have a new-found love of pre-owned designer pieces; which on occasion still allow me to get my hands on a designer bag.  I have several previously-loved handbags in my closet, and I must say that it is a great way to go!  Not only does each bag have a  life “story” that is fun to imagine whether it be a current or vintage design, saving those extra dollars while still owning something really beautiful feels pretty good as well.  The trick I use is to make sure to purchase from a reputable site that specializes in  and authenticates designer consignment items.  I also like to wait until they have a promotion going on to maximize my savings.  I have really scored some great bags at amazing prices in the past using that strategy!

Some of my favorite, trustworthy sites include:

Trendlee

The Real Real

Vestiaire Collective

What Goes Around Comes Around

This particular Gucci Dionysus “Blooms” bag I am showing in this post is from Trendlee… they lent this beauty to me to enjoy for a while, but they have so many beautiful bags like this available on their site, plus a SALE going on until 5/22, where you can spend more to save more with code STYLE10!

As always thank you for stopping by!  Be sure to scroll down for more photos and all outfit links (including this under $30 top), and please feel free to leave a comment – I always love hearing from you!

Wishing you a blessed day,
